RAS Design helps clients assess their facility needs for new construction, project viability, and upgrades/expansions. They provide vital information for planning food service and laundry facilities.
RAS prioritizes preliminary design for project success. They communicate with clients to gather detailed information on facility usage and employ computerized schematics, utility schedules, and cost estimates to align the concept, building infrastructure, and equipment budgets with client expectations.
Our construction plan set incorporates revisions from preliminary design research and includes Electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building condition plans developed with engineers and architects. AutoCAD or 2D/3D fabrication details and equipment brochures with detailed information are also included.
RAS collaborates with health departments to streamline the permit process and help architects and engineers obtain necessary permits and approvals from municipal building departments. They have experience in review processes for schools and hospitals with organizations such as DSA and OSHPD.
Our construction document set includes specifications for a full equipment bid package when requested by the client. We assist clients in preparing "Instruction to Bidders" and provide clarification during the bidding process. Upon receiving bids, we review line items to identify errors and omissions in the proposal.
RAS draws from both construction and design experience to understand client needs during project construction. They closely monitor and communicate with contractors to avoid issues that may impact the project's timeline and budget, prioritizing a timely completion.
